About the Cadillac ATS-V

Officially STOLEN

ATS VADR

Valentine’s Day 2025 was supposed to be uneventful—just a quick bite for lunch at Chick-fil-A in the Dayton Mall. But when I returned to the parking lot, my heart sank. My ATS-V, my dream machine, was gone. Stolen. I had only owned her for a few months, but that short time was enough to know one thing for sure: I was hooked on Cadillac V Series performance.

Losing that car didn’t break my passion—it fueled it. That moment sparked my deeper dive into the world of V Series Cadillacs. From the aggressive lines of the ATS-V to the pure adrenaline of my current CT4-V Blackwing, I’ve found a lasting connection in these machines. This site is my way of sharing that passion with fellow owners and fans—because once you drive a V, nothing else compares.

The Hunt for My Stolen ATS-V: Unraveling a Unique Adventure

Discovery in the Dark Digital World

A Tip from the Digital Underground

After filing the police report, I was still reeling from the loss of my beloved ATS-V. A few days later, light emerged from an unexpected source—a colleague at work. They tipped me off with screenshots from a private Facebook group, "Striker." There, on Feb 16th, was the unmistakable listing for my stolen car, now in Louisville, KY, photos and all. The disbelief was overwhelming; my beloved vehicle was reduced to a commodity on a digital marketplace.

The saga continued. On Feb 21, my ATS-V appeared again in a less private Facebook group for sale in Columbus, OH. This time, the car had new pictures and even more damage visible—a broken sunroof, the red hood vent removed, a printed license tag with check engine lights aglow. The post was glaringly suspicious with it's ominous "No title ifykyk" description, set at a mere $4,000. Anger mingled with despair, yet determination fueled my pursuit of justice.

Coordination and Cunning

Piecing Together the Pieces

With detailed images and clues amassed, I contacted a dedicated officer. Our combined efforts pinpointed the trail left by those who wrongfully held my ATS-V. Leveraging my laptop’s tracking, the officer zeroed in on the active regions of West Dayton. A sting operation was on the horizon. The car, supposedly with a Red Durango SRT Hellcat, had already eluded capture twice. It was clear the path to retrieval required strategy and tech—a helicopter was proposed to track them safely.

The CT4 Blackwing was the perfect replacement

About three weeks after the theft, just as the insurance check was about to land, I got a call from the Cadillac salesman who originally helped me find my ATS-V. He wasn’t just checking in—he was planting a seed. A CT4-V Blackwing had just been traded in, and he thought I might want a look.

After work that day, I stopped by the dealership—and it was love at first sight. The curves, the stance, the potential… it was everything I missed and more. One test drive sealed it. The fire that started with my ATS-V hadn’t gone out—it had just evolved. As you can probably guess, the rest is history.
