Performance Traction Management (PTM) (If Equipped)

PTM controls performance systems for track use and can reduce traction/stability control.

Activation by:

  • Through V-Mode, press a second time after first activating V-Mode

  • Press ESC switch twice while in Track Mode

  • Use steering wheel PTM switch (if equipped)

PTM Modes and Descriptions:

Mode Recommended Use ESC Status Notes
Wet All skill levels; wet/damp conditions only On Not for heavy rain or standing water
Dry Less experienced drivers; dry conditions On Slightly reduced engine power
Sport Drivers familiar with the track; dry only On More power than Dry
Race 1 Skilled drivers; dry only Off Same power as Sport; ESC off
Race 2 Experienced drivers; dry only Off Max power for cornering speed
  • Launch Control is available in any PTM mode.

  • PTM may automatically adjust other systems.

Competitive Driving Mode (If Equipped)

Activated by:

  1. Placing vehicle in Sport Mode

  2. Pressing the TCS/StabiliTrak button twice

  3. DIC will display: COMPETITIVE MODE ON

  • Traction Control System does not limit wheel spin.

  • eLSD allows increased agility.

  • Steering requires more effort.

  • Press the button again or restart the vehicle to turn off.

Caution: Loss of traction is possible when TCS or ESC is off.

Launch Control (If Equipped)

Launch Control is available within Competitive Driving Mode or any PTM mode for controlled acceleration.

Activated by:

  1. Vehicle is stationary

  2. Steering wheel straight

  3. Competitive Mode or PTM active (TCS OFF light on)

  4. Automatic Transmission:

    • Firmly press brake pedal

    • Rapidly apply full throttle

How It Works:

  • Limits RPM on launch

  • Once RPM stabilizes, release brake smoothly while maintaining throttle

  • System will manage tire slip for acceleration

  • After launch, system stays in Competitive Mode or PTM

Intended only for closed-course racing; not for public roads.

Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (eLSD) (If Equipped)

Actively adjusts torque between rear wheels for better handling.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced high-speed control

  • Improved corner traction

  • Better steering precision and vehicle agility

  • Integrated with ESC

Maintenance Note: Rear axle fluid should be changed after heavy use (e.g., track events).

Engine/Shift

Adjusts the throttle response, gear shifting and engine performance.

  • Snow/Ice – Reduces engine throttle response at small pedal inputs for better traction.

  • Track – Adjusts the throttle response and aggressive gear shifting.

Throttle Progression

Adjusts throttle sensitivity by selecting how quickly the throttle reacts to input.

  • Snow/Ice – Reduces engine torque at small pedal inputs to allow better wheel control on slippery surfaces.

  • Track – Adjusts the pedal for maximum control during high-level spirited driving.

Transmission Shift Modes

Available in Sport or Track via Dynamic Performance Mode (DPM).

  • Holds the current gear after a quick release of a heavily applied accelerator pedal for better engine braking and control.

  • Recognizes aggressive cornering, heavy braking, and high acceleration to hold lower gears.

  • Shifts are firmer and quicker for improved responsiveness.

Engine Sound

Adjusts the volume of engine noise.

  • Changes based on when the variable exhaust valves open.

Steering (Assist Effort)

Adjusts the level of steering assistance.

  • Tour Mode – Lighter steering feel.

  • Sport/Track Modes – Reduced assist for more steering feel.

Magnetic Ride Control (If Equipped)

Adjusts shock damping firmness.

  • Tour Mode – Comfort-focused tuning.

  • Sport/Track Modes – Optimized responsiveness.

Stability Control

  • Competitive Mode – Allows some slide and drift. Enabled via TCS/StabiliTrak button (only in Sport Mode).

  • Full ESC Off – Press and hold the TCS/StabiliTrak button for 5 seconds.

Brake Feel

Adjusts brake pedal sensitivity based on input speed.
